- Hey.
-
- What exactly are the benefits of the MacroSystems US Retina Z3
- compared to the Villagetronic Picasso II? I have a chance to buy one at a
- decent price, yet I'm worried it'll be less compatible and supported than
- say, the Picasso or Cybergraphics board.
-
- I know it has 4MB on it, and it's a Z3 addressable card, which means it'll
- only work in the A3000/4000.
-
- Specifically:
-
- -will it work in a 40.68 (3.1) softkick A3000 w/1.4?
- -what buster and dmac revs does it require?
- -does it have a monitor switch?
- -does it support 256 or better WB emulation?
- -will it run Cybergraphics
- -will it run EGS
- -will it be supported in two years?
- -will an RTG driver be out for it?
-
- if you could email me the answers to these questions, it'd be
- appreciated. If you HAVE a retina z3 or picasso for sale in Toronto,
- Ontario, Canada, I'd like to hear from you too!
